Why on earth have we taken the trouble to develop a software like SiteKist? After all, there areplenty of programs and platforms around to create and run websites on the Internet; and many of them don't even cost anything.

Firstly, many of the traditional programs for that - like Dreamweaver - areoutdated by now; a few relatively new platforms like Wordpress may be very good ... but many of them need considerable user- and sometimes even programming-skills to applyeffectively - especially for eCommerce purposes.

Beginners and even experienced users are often not up to the task.
